Paleo Autoimmune Protocol Retreat.
Eat the rainbow! Heal with food.
August 1-4, 2024
Accommodations provided by the Tipi Village Retreat in Marcola, OR
Hello, my name is Alice, and I want to share my health journey with you. After being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, I agreed to start a lifelong prescription plan to keep my symptoms under control. I didn’t realize there was another way. A better way. Food.
I discovered and have been following the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP), which incorporates nutrient-dense foods while eliminating the foods that negatively impact my health. I have reversed essentially ALL of my RA symptoms (including chronic fatigue) without the need for medications. My rheumatologist confirmed that my inflammation is gone! But this therapeutic diet can also help with fibromyalgia, Hashimoto’s, lupus, IBS, SIBO…..the list goes on and on. This process was overwhelming and challenging, even for a foodie like me. I don’t want it to be overwhelming for you.
Diet represents the most powerful medicine available to us. In this course I have taken everything I learned on my journey back to health, and will present it to you so that you can recreate this process for yourself. We will discuss inflammatory foods, food triggers, gut health, cellular nutrition, food reintroduction, and creative ways to modify your favorite recipes. I will provide you with resources to take home with you after our retreat.
During this all-inclusive weekend we will prepare all of our meals in an outdoor, creek-side kitchen in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We will nourish our bodies with beautiful, flavorful, fresh ingredients using recipes from around the world. This is NOT a bland, boring diet! Whether you want to reverse your autoimmune disorder, or support someone you love who HAS an autoimmune disease, this lifestyle intervention can change your life. It changed mine.
Most accommodations at the Tipi Village Retreat are for two people. Consider taking this journey with a friend or supporter. .
